Kantar Australia announce three executive leadership appointments
Kantar Australia CEO Jon Foged today announced three significant leadership appointments with Alistair Leathwood, Jonathan Sinton and John Evans transitioning into new roles to leverage the success of 2018.
“The appointments of Alistair, Jonathan and John into these roles will positively impact our people, drive the evolution of how we work and strengthen our client development immeasurably,“ said Foged.
Kantar TNS Australia Executive Director Alistair Leathwood will move into the newly created role of Kantar’s Chief Commercial Officer with explicit focus on driving growth via development and conversion of new commercial opportunities, partnership and new revenue streams. With a research and strategy career spanning 20 years in the UK, US and Australia, Alistair is also highly regarded for his expertise in the technology sector.
Jonathan Sinton is a very familiar face and trusted partner to Australian clients and is returning from the US to take the reins of Kantar TNS. He spent the last five years in New York as Kantar’s Global Digital Director. There he partnered with many top global clients to re-invent their research approaches from media measurement, social analytics and behavioural data integration, to finding ways to replace surveys with new methods.
To support Kantar’s focus on executing client work with agility and efficiency, John Evans will assume responsibility for all of Kantar Australia as Head of Operations. He brings over 25 years of experience and has been with Kantar Millward Brown and National Field Services in Australia since 2005. His expertise in marrying more traditional IT software programming skills with market research software to automate data delivery is a huge asset to the business and clients.
All three positions are effective from January 7, 2019. Alistair Leathwood will remain on the Kantar Australia Board and will be joined by both Sinton and Evans. Kantar’s Insights Division in Australia comprises market-leading agencies Kantar TNS and Kantar Millward Brown.
